               school, grades 7-10.  My primary role is to provide

               therapeutic crisis intervention and behavior management

               with students. In addition, I teach self-management, 
               anger management and appropriate communication skills.

                I also support all staff both in and out of the classroom

               with clinical consultation. 

             

Baird Center for Children and Families
Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Coordinator                                  2002- 2006

              Coordinated and oversaw all Therapeutic Crisis Intervention

              training for Baird Services. Responsibilities include curriculum

              design & implementation, supervision of training staff, coordination

              of professional development cycle for all Baird staff, policy

              recommendations, and therapeutic program consultation.

             Educational Counselor in an intensive therapeutic school, grades 1-8.
             My role as Educational Counselor was identical in many ways to
             my present role at the Jean Garvin School. The primary difference between
             the two schools are the ages of the student population.

Green Mountain Prevention Projects,                                            1998 - 2000
           Program Director, Teen Institute Project.
           Drug and alcohol abuse prevention, leadership training,
           anger management, conflict resolution, school violence prevention
           and community action planning. Responsibilities included: 
           curriculum design, creating week long residency training programs,
           hiring and training 70 staff, site location, coordinating
           workshop presenters, presenting workshops, communicating/training
           and supporting school advisors, budgeting, design and implementation
           of project effectiveness studies, coordinating with Social Rehabilitative
           Services, fund raising and speakers bureau.

          violence and the power of purpose and self mastery. Articles and

          video productions include: "Keeping Kids Safe! A guide for Kids

          and their Families". Ages 5 -10. "Working it out, A Survival Guide

          For Kids" Ages 9-18.

          implementation of executive compensation and business

        community service with revenues from the backrest displays.
